Join us on the Saturday the 9th of August for a Bluesy Rock evening Starting the evening off is local legend Uncle Carbunkle he Worlds Greatest (and only) Cyber Skiffle Band! Infectiously rhythmic, raucous, roots music played on home made instruments, rocking guitar, intense driving harmonica , powerful basslines and Funky beats. Expect an exciting and unique sound Followed by with Bowie, Peak & Powney. The band is lead by John Bowie, a truly unique and highly talented rock and blues guitarist. The rhythm's are provided by the superb Beak Davidson on Bass and the highly renowned John Pownie on drums. Bowie, Beak & Powney are Cumbria's super trio. With the finest covers of Jimi Hendrix, Stevie-Ray Vaughn through to mind-blowing renditions of classic blues. These guys are not to be missed.
