Piano & Pipes - John Barber & Matt Goodwin

On Saturday 28th June, I'm delighted to be playing alongside my good friend and amazing musician, Mr John Barber, for a concert entitled Piano & Pipes as part of the annual 3 Shires Festival at St Hilda's Church, Warley Woods. It's free to get in as well! Donations are welcomed on the way out. We will start at 7:30pm!
John and I will present some of our favourite music on the church's stunning grand piano and their church organ - we will play solo and as a duo, there will be classical, contemporary, jazz, film music, new arrangements of well known tunes, and I'm very excited to say I'll even be playing one of my own compositions for the first time in public! We aim to cover a wide variety of music to show what the piano and organ can do, as well as singing for a few songs and maybe even some more surprises on the night!
It's all made possible by the incredible 3 Shires Festival which takes place every year - there are loads of other events on with orchestras, soloists, chords, a ceilidh, all kinds of great things so check out the programme.
It'll be a great night - drop me a message or comment if you're coming along or have any questions!
