Gilbert and Sullivan's story unfolds as Josephine, the captain’s daughter, loves Ralph, a common sailor. But her father insists she marries Sir Joseph Porter, First Lord of the Admiralty. Must class always get in the way of love? With sharp dialogue and catchy tunes, this timeless comic opera is performed outdoors on a spectacular nautical set with the beautiful River Teign as it's backdrop.
