Funded by the National Lottery Reaching Communities, our Our MindSide project is launching a new bereavement support group in Scarborough, beginning June 19th 2025. Whilst bereavement is not a mental illness, the impact can lead to mental health problems if you don’t have the right support around you. Losing someone you love can be overwhelming, and grief can feel isolating. Our bereavement support groups offers a safe, welcoming space where you can share your feelings, listen to others, and find comfort in knowing you’re not alone alongside support and advice from an experienced mental health professional.
Grief affects everyone differently, but being around people who understand can provide reassurance, connection, and hope. Whether you want to talk or simply be in the company of others who ‘get it,’ this group is here for you. Together, we support each other through loss, helping to ease the weight of grief one step at a time. You don’t have to face this alone.
