The Ward Melville Heritage Organization (WMHO) is delighted to announce the return of Pop-Up Saturdays in Stony Brook Village!
This six-part series of family-friendly events will take place every Saturday from July 12 to August 16. Filled with animals, music, art, and magic, these events promise fun for all ages. Pop-Up Saturdays are free to the public and will be located in Stony Brook Villageβs Inner Court, near Crazy Beans and the Waterfall Garden.
2025 Pop-Up Saturdays Lineup:
β’ July 12th β Magic of Amore (1:30pm β 2:15pm) - Come be dazzled by a magic show from one of New Yorkβs top- rated magicians!
β’ July 12th - Marty Macaluso Caricature Artist (1:30pm β 3:30pm) β Get your caricature drawn by the talented artist Marty Macaluso.
β’ July 19th β Uncle Tonyβs Reptile Shack (1:30pm-2:15pm and 2:30pm-3:15pm) β Come meet snakes, lizards, tortoises, and more at this interactive show.
β’ July 19th β ARF Animal Rescue (11am β 2pm) β The ARF Animal rescue will be here with their mobile adoption van along with some furry friends!
β’ July 26th β Pixie Dust Storytellers (1:30pm -2:15pm and 2:30pm- 3:15pm) β Pixie Dust Storytellers brings magical, family-friendly character experiences to events across Long Island.
β’ August 2nd β School of Rock Port Jefferson (1:30pm β 3:30pm) β At School of Rock students learn to rock out on guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, and vocals. They will be here to perform an exciting set.
β’ August 2nd β Hope for Cleo Animal Rescue (12pm β 3:30pm) β Hope for Cleo is a nonprofit animal rescue organization hosting a puppy adoption event. Stop by to pet some cute puppies!
β’ August 9th β Johnny Cuomo (1:30pm β 2:15pm and 2:30pm -3:15pm) β Johnny Cuomo is a musician, storyteller, naturalist, teacher and author. He has sharing folk tales with people of all ages for many years.
β’ August 16th β Sweetbriar Nature Center (1:30pm β 2:15pm and 2:30pm -3:15pm) β Sweetbriar Nature Center provides natural science education services for Long Island residents of all ages and engaging in native wildlife rehabilitation services.
