Geology and Geoheritage of Hindostan Whetstone

Learn about Indiana's oldest mineral industry and the remarkable fossils contained within Hindostan whetstone. IGWS outreach coordinator Polly Sturgeon will present on the "Geology and Geoheritage of Hindostan Whestone" during the annual meeting of the Indiana Society of Paleontology.

The meeting will take place during the 60th annual Gem, Mineral, and Fossil Show at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds. Admission to the presentation and mineral show is free.
