Evangola Community Theater is raising the curtain on its inaugural production, "Here We Sit" by Don Swartz! This two-act comedy puts the audience on stage as they watch actors play members of a local community showing their love for, and sometimes distaste of, stage theater in a tight-knit town.
Opening Thursday, July 10, "Here We Sit" runs for two weekends until Saturday, July 19. Performances are in Updyke Hall at the First Congregational United Church of Christ on Main Street in Angola. House opens at 6:30 PM, shows start at 7 PM and run approximately two-plus hours with a 15-minute intermission. There is one 2 PM matinee on closing Saturday, July 19, with house opening at 1:30 PM.
