Celebrate 25 years of the Emiquon restoration with a guided Ridge Hike focusing on the archaeological past of the Emiquon Preserve. Take in the stunning view from the top of the ridge.
The hike begins at the Therkildsen Field Station, 11316 N. Prairie Road, Lewistown. Participants should expect to walk uphill, across uneven terrain on this approximately 2-mile out-and-back hike. Dress for the outdoors. Sturdy, close-toed foot ware, a hat, bandana, sunscreen, and bug spray is highly recommended. Bring your own trail snacks and plenty of water.
