TOURNAMENT RULES
1. CERTIFICATION: This tournament is sanctioned by the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) and as such is governed strictly by the rules and regulations of that organization. All 2025-2026 USBC playing rules will be enforced.
2. ELIGIBILITY: Must be a 2025-2026 Greater Bloomington USBC Sanctioned bowler.
3. CHECK-IN TIME: Check in begins 60 minutes prior to the squad start time.
4. LATE ENTRIES: Day of tournament entries will be permitted as space allows up to 30 minutes prior to squad time, with a $10.00 late entry fee. We recommend early entry sign ups.
5. RESERVATIONS: Bowlers must be checked in 15 minutes prior to practice time. Those who are not will forfeit their spots to anyone in the wait list or walk-ins for that day.
6. PRIZE FUND: Top 8 will cash regardless of number of entries. If there are more than 32 entries, additional places will be paid on a 1:4 ratio.
7. PAYOUT: All players eliminated in the same round will cash the same amount. Additional places past the 8th place will be determined on the 5 game qualifying series and in accordance with Rule 5.
8. LANE BREAKDOWN: If there is a breakdown, tournament management reserves the right to move bowlers to another pair of lanes.
9. PROTESTS: The action of the Tournament Officials will be final unless an appeal is made in accordance with Rule 706. Protests must be made before Tournament awards are presented.
10. PATTERN: Challenge Shot – No one will be told what pattern is used until the tournament concludes.
11. TIES: In the event of a tie for 8th place, a 9th and 10th frame roll-off will determine the higher seed. In the event of a tie at the end of the roll-off a sudden death 1 ball roll-off will decide.
In the event of a tie for any other position, the seeding will be determined based on the highest individual game of qualifying until the tie is broken. If still tied a coin flip will occur. Playoff Ties will be broken with a 9th and 10th frame roll-off, if still tied a sudden death 1 ball roll-off will decide.
12. BRACKET PLAYOFF: will be a 2-game total pinfall match. Round 8 will have 5 minutes of practice. All other rounds will have 2 practice balls on each lane.
13. LATE ARRIVAL: will be allowed to start in the frame being bowled with a zero score for any missed frames.
