On Saturday, July 12th at 2:00 p.m., the Seaside Library Friends & Foundation will welcome author William L. Sullivan who will be offering the community a presentation titled, “New Hikes on the Oregon Coast.” This event will be held in the Community Room.
Oregon's hiking guru takes on a slide show tour of a dozen new trails he discovered while researching the latest edition of his book, "100 Hikes: Oregon Coast." Discover a loop hike around Depoe Bay, an island with a state park near Pacific City, and a long-lost treasure ship at Neahkahnie Mountain. As always, Sullivan spices his talk with notes on the geology, wildlife, and history of the land.
