Books at the Brewery - Demystifying Dementia

Very few people will go through life and not be touched by Dementia - whether that is because you know someone who has Dementia or because you are living with it yourself.

For this event we've called upon Aged and Dementia-care educator, Rose Capp and fiction writer, Sean Wilson to discuss their books which both have a central theme of 'living with Dementia'.

Rose is on a mission to 'demystify' the information we have access to; to make it more comprehensible and advise us on how we can support those around us who are living with Dementia and be reassured by what lies ahead for them and/or for ourselves.
Sean brings a fictional approach to the conversation - writing a story based on his grandmother's experience; a beautiful, moving and important story which will complement the discussion in so many ways.
