Monthly Business Luncheon

We've got a really exciting luncheon planned for June. Carla McGuire, NCTC will be here to present their program about the IT projects for small businesses that are being done by students, at no charge to the small business owner, are generally for 224 hours and completed within (or during) a single academic semester (Fall, Spring or Summer). The number of hours per week can vary based on student academic coursework load and other student and small business considerations. Small businesses who choose to partner with us for IT project assistance, sign a programmatic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) – basically to acknowledge the opportunity is provided by a TWC grant, is with students, and is for student participation in real-time Internship experiences with on-the-job training and oversight. We pair IT student Interns with local business partner mentors, who serve as IT subject-matter-experts.
