IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING CAR PARADE FOR ELIJAH TOMORROW
We are incredibly excited for tomorrow’s special car parade honoring Elijah, also known as “Super E”, a brave 4-year-old currently undergoing treatment for a rare and aggressive brain cancer. Elijah is car-crazy and has handled his journey with unbelievable strength and spirit. While he hasn’t been able to have the big birthday celebration he deserves due to his compromised immune system, we’re hoping this parade of cool cars and motorcycles brings him a huge smile and unforgettable memories.
The outpouring of support has been beyond anything we imagined, and we are truly grateful to each and every one of you who is helping make this moment so special for Elijah and his family. Our team has been working to coordinate a safe, respectful route for everyone participating.
🚨 VERY IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY 🚨
This event is taking place in a quiet residential neighborhood, and we must treat it with the utmost respect. Darien Police will be present and actively enforcing all traffic laws.
Out of respect for Elijah, his neighbors, and everyone involved, we kindly ask you:
• Obey all traffic signals and signage
• No speeding
• No revving, burnouts, donuts, stunts or reckless driving
• Always drive respectfully and safely
We will be meeting at Hinsdale South High School in the parking lot next to their football field 9:15am-9:40am. Leaving promptly at 9:40am to head to Elijah’s home. This is NOT A RACE!! Please no excessive speeding, revving, reckless driving or fly by passing. Try to stay in line with the car in front of you as we make our way to Elijah’s home. ROUTE MAP & FINAL DESTINATION ADDRESS IS POSTED ON THE EVENT IMAGE.
