Indigenous day is coming soon and here’s a look at the schedulele!
Solstice Feast at the Healing Room (Health Center) - 11am.
Starting at 12 Noon:
Opening with Chief and Council and the Little Spirit Singers.
From 12-4: Enjoy games, activities, vendors, snacks, prizes and water fun at the WACC.
12-4: Family tree making and family photo sharing at the Gathering Building.
4:30 (aprox) Hawks exhibition game.
5-5:30: Supper is at the Gathering Building.
Potential of a kokosh ball after supper.
Fireworks at dusk.
The Fire Department will be available and will be handing out glow in the dark bracelets.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
There is no parking beside the WACC, Ballfield and Docks all day.
The road will be closed all day.
The side by side will be available to transport elders/persons in need of ride from the roadways, Gathering Building and Band Office parking lot to the WACC and activities in the Village.
We can’t wait to see you there and celebrate Wasauksing!!!
