Intermediate Skills: Embellishing and Upcycling

It’s time to give your favourite old outfit or new-to-you op shop clothes a new life. In this class, we’ll go over ways you can add some colour and fun to any outfit, using a variety of trims, lace and other haberdashery.
Upcycling clothes is a great way to get more wear out of any outfit and helps use up all that beautiful haberdashery sitting at home!


What we will cover:
Making your own trims and bias binding
Sewing trims and ribbons
Hand and machine sewing lace
Making simple applique
Patching and covering damage
