The Summer Concert Series is back at the Wellington County Museum and Archives!

Enjoy some indie acoustic and folk music with both our artists tonight. The Fergus Pipe Band and Meggie Faye.

Founded in 1927, the Fergus Pipe Band has a long and proud history. For decades, the Fergus Pipe Band has enjoyed a solid reputation as a street band. The band has participated in parades both locally in Ontario and elsewhere, including parading in Maple Leaf Gardens in the 1950’s. When the first Highland Games in Fergus were established in 1946, the band began its long history of being the β€˜hometown’ band, playing at the Tattoo, at various events throughout the weekend and competing.

Meggie is a true songwriter who writes songs that come directly from the heart. Her raw and vulnerable story telling with a rich and calming voice leaves listeners moved and inspired.

All concerts begin at 7:00 pm inside the Heritage Barn. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chair or picnic blanket. No registration required and admission is by donation.
