Sunday Message: My Church and My Works

If the most dominant feature of your theology is the reward of heaven or the penalty of hell, you will always have a theology of works based on fear. It’s unavoidable. Thankfully, heaven and hell are not central to the Gospel of Jesus, but grace and love are. We know little about heaven and hell. Jesus rarely talked about them. But he was obsessed with the Kingdom and of grace. If we are to be like Jesus, we must be obsessed with them as well.
