Aging in America: Survive or Thrive - Film Screening and Discussion

Join the Geriatric Center of Excellence at Dartmouth Health for a special viewing of the new PBS documentary, β€œAging in America: Survive or Thrive.” This engaging film highlights the experiences of older adults and family caregivers across the country as they navigate the complexities of aging. The screening will be followed by a post-film discussion, led by Dr. Terry Fulmer and Dr. Nate Goldstein.

Dr. Terry Fulmer is the President of the John A. Hartford Foundation in New York and an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine. She has previously served as a Distinguished Professor and Dean of Health Sciences at Northeastern University, and as the Erline Perkins McGriff Professor and Dean of the New York University College of Nursing.

Dr. Nate Goldstein is the Joseph M. Huber Professor of Medicine and Chair of the Department of Medicine at Dartmouth Health. He is a past president of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and an internationally renowned geriatric palliative care expert.
