Making Book Cloth Workshop with Laura Farahzad Mayer

In this workshop students will learn the process of making their own book cloth. Students will learn how to turn found or purchased fabric into a usable cloth that can be used for covering books or boxes. Making your own book cloth is a great way to personalize your handmade books. We will finish the class by making a simple single section case book using some of the fabric made in class. Students will leave class with their own book cloth as well as their book.
