Balance & Transform: Understanding Your Pelvic Floor

Everyone has a pelvic floor! It is a vital part of our anatomy that helps maintain our ability to eliminate waste from the body, sexual function & dysfunction, carry children for women, support prostate for men, & holds in our abdominal organs. You will learn about the anatomy & breath practice focusing on the pelvic floor. You will also move through a full beginner friendly yoga practice focusing on movement with connection and attention to the pelvic floor learning to relax and strengthen. We will have a brief discussion about changes that occur throughout hormonal changes for women - from puberty through menopause & beyond.

As a medical practitioner, Bonnie has seen how urinary tract infections, uterine prolapse (from weak pelvic floor) & pelvic pain can lead to significant illnesses which has led her to be very passionate about sharing this practice with others!
