Youth living in communities that have had a mass violence event can experience a variety of complex emotions.
Our weekly drop-in skills group is led by one of our center advocates, Monica.
In this group, children will:
- Learn age-appropriate tools to manage complex emotions
- Connect with peers who understand their experiences
- Engage in creative expression through art, music, and movement
- Build resilience skills through play and structured activities
This class is geared toward ages 7-12, we are happy to talk with you if you have a child who is younger or older that you feel may benefit with this group.
If you have questions please contact us, we can be reached by email at aW5mbyB8IG1haW5lcmVzaWxpZW5jeWNlbnRlciAhIG9yZw== or by phone at 207-515-3930.
