by Carlos Alvarez Zarikian

Admission FREE.

Buried deep beneath the ocean floor are the fossil remains of marine microscopic plants and animals that lived in the ocean thousands to millions of years ago. Aided by powerful imaging instruments scientists can explore and study these tiny creatures, many of whom are just tens of microns across. This presentation will introduce participants to the wonderful world of marine microfossils and the stories they reveal.
