Service and Sun Day: July 24
Our second Service and Sun Day this summer is on July 24! The morning will start with some free time at Silverwood Park in St. Anthony (coffee shop, scavenger hunts, swimming, oh my!) and after lunch we will head over to HeightsNEXT’s Blooming Sunshine Garden.
Blooming Sunshine is a food forest in Columbia Heights, MN. In this beautiful place, the community works together to grow food, learns gardening skills and gathers to enjoy the produce that grows. Not only is the food forest plentiful, but the fluid patterns and angular designs showcase agriculture as art.
We will get to pick ripe produce, learn about the garden, assist with weeding and garden maintenance, and get a neighborhood tour!
