CELEBRATE THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF GEORGE A. ROMERO'S APOCALYPTIC ZOMBIE CLASSIC

***Hosted by Justin Esquivel of the Epic Film Guys Podcast***

Unjustly overshadowed by its predecessors in George Romero's original "Dead" trilogy, DAY OF THE DEAD is a churning volcano of panic, paranoia, and gut explosions. Sarah (the excellent Lori Cardille), along with a small group of scientists and soldiers, finds herself stuck in an underground missile silo, struggling to control the flesh-eaters that lurk above. Thanks to the savage makeup effects by Tom Savini (FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE FINAL CHAPTER), an anxious score from John Harrison (CREEPSHOW), and Romero's dedication to standing up for what he believes in, DAY is easily the most insightful and affecting zombie epic of the 1980s. This sun-baked gorefest also spawned Bub, a beloved horror icon and your new favorite domesticated zombie.
