Join us on Friday, June 27th, at the Katherine Hughes Memorial Hall in the Irish Cultural Centre, 582
North River Road for a Ceilidh featuring the Chaisson Trio: Louise Chaisson MacKinnon, Kevin Chaisson
and Sheila MacKenzie.
Enjoy a night of traditional Scottish and Irish jigs, reels, strathspeys, slow airs, and ballads. Kevin
Chaisson brings his expertise on the keyboard, with deep roots in PEI's traditional music. Louise Chaisson
MacKinnon, with her melodic voice, adds beautiful vocals to the mix. Sheila MacKenzie is a well-known
Prince Edward Island fiddler who plays traditional Scottish/Cape Breton/PEI style fiddle music. She also
teaches and loves to promote Gaelic culture and music.
The evening includes a 50/50 draw and “Tea and Treats” during intermission. The hall is air-conditioned
and licensed. Note: Our elevator is currently out of service. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the show starts
at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Tickets are available through
Locarius or at the door.
