When you encounter a plaster ceiling on wood lath that is severely deteriorated and falling down, your first impulse is to question whether or not it can be restored. This workshop will demonstrate in a hands-on fashion how even a deteriorated ceiling can be effectively and efficiently saved to give predictable performance in the future.
We have a unique opportunity for six individuals to partake in a hands-on experience to resurrect a severely delaminated ceiling on wood lath in a residential setting using the alpha base coat method in Wheeling. We'll explore the materials and methods needed to do this work and everyone participating should get some practice in as well!
A two-part workshop consisting of two, 3 hour sessions on June 27 & 28 will introduce participants to solutions for a deteriorated ceiling from start to finish. The cost for this workshop is $150 per person. Registration is required.
