Lancelot Knight is a Plains Cree singer-songwriter from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Music was always present in his life — his father, Chester Knight, is a Juno award-winning singer-songwriter.
Lancelot has toured Germany, New Zealand and across North America as a solo performer and was even a part of his father’s band, Chester Knight and the Wind. Now, he hopes to inspire young audiences or artists who may be struggling, just as he once did. “We are all avatars in the same world, and we find that through our music,” said Lancelot.
He still performs across North America, delivering raw, heartfelt shows that showcase his powerful voice, compelling lyrics and commanding stage presence.
Lancelot has already made waves in the industry, with multiple solo hits reaching the Top 10 of Indigenous Music Countdown. He was an official showcase artist at Folk Music Ontario 2024 and won Rock Artist of the Year at the 2024 Saskatchewan Indigenous Music Awards.
