Glass Fusing is a fascinating media, you can shape it, stack it, weave it or melt it into a puddle! Each student will be exposed to the glass fusing process in this introductory class. No experience necessary and no glass cutting will be required for this intro level class. In this hands-on class, students will be introduced to the medium of glass, the steps and types of fusing, tools, terminology, and more. Students will make 3 projects. This class is required for those interested in participating in Intermediate Fusing Workshops, which are held weekly on Tuesdays. Students are encouraged to bring a beverage and a snack or lunch when classes interfere with their normal eating times. There is a drinking fountain in the hall, but there are no vending machines on site.
