Join Us for a Live Performance by Lua Project at El Pueblo History Museum!

Experience a vibrant evening of cross-cultural music and storytelling with Lua Project, a Virginia-based family quartet known for their signature "Appalachiano" sound—a rich fusion of Latin American folk of Mexican heritage, Appalachian traditions, and Eastern European roots.

Led by vocalist, songwriter, and dancer Estela Díaz Knott, alongside David Berzonsky (upright bass, requinto), and their daughters Luna (violin, vocals, jarana) and Mareana (vocals, percussion), Lua Project weaves personal heritage and ancestral memory into a musical celebration of identity and resilience.

Expect soul-stirring harmonies, layered rhythms, and moving reflections on migration, belonging, and the cultural threads that connect us all.

Free and open to the public with RSVP. All ages welcome.
Come ready to listen, move, and connect!
