Two* Plays and a Picnic
Sunday, August 3, 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM
The Summit Lodge at Mt. Philo in Charlotte, VT
Come spend the morning, the afternoon, or the whole day with fellow theater lovers for The Shelburne Players’ second annual Two* Plays and a Picnic event atop Mt. Philo on Sunday, August 3!
We’ll read a one-act play (*plus a bonus, 10-minute original work) together in the morning, pause for lunch, then read a second one-act play in the afternoon. Come for either or both! No experience necessary—this is a super-casual gathering for anyone who wants to join. And if you don’t want to read, just come and listen.
The morning play: Bad Auditions by Bad Actors by Ian McWethy (bonus work: Bird Tony by Phin Holzhammer)
The afternoon play: Too Many Detectives at the Murder Mansion by Ian McWethy
Bring your lunch and we’ll provide dessert. Just tell the folks at the gatehouse that you’re here for The Shelburne Players and they’ll let you through—we’ve got your entrance fee covered.
