Our pontoon boat trip to see the kites was so successful last year, we're offering it for a second year in a row. Archaeopteryx has teamed up with the Airboat Photographer to present you with a fantastic opportunity.
This field trip is perfect whether you're a photographer, or just someone with a love of birding who would like to see this migration spectacle of hundreds of kites. Master Captain and photographer John Patrick will guide you to where the Swallow-tailed Kites gather en mass to prepare for their long journey back to Central and South America. This communal roost is only accessible by boat. So make sure to book now.

I can pick you up in Orlando or anywhere in central Florida and drive you out to Deland for a 3-hour boating and photography session with Captain John. The cost for this opportunity will be $150 per person with a minimum of 4 to run the trip. This includes your transportation, water/snacks, photography lesson (if needed), and all marina fees. Please contact Rebecca of Archaeopteryx tours by emailing YXJjaGFlb3B0ZXJ5eHRvdXJzIHwgZ21haWwgISBjb20= or by phone call or text to 609-553-0757 to sign up for this opportunity.
