Moth Night

Come see which moths are found throughout Bloomington!
After a brief intro to moths, we'll try attracting and observing them with a white sheet and light. Not all moths are dull! Learn how to join nearly 1,500 citizen scientists tracking Indiana’s butterflies, moths, and skippers—no experience needed. Bring a flashlight for after the program. We'll visit two locations to compare species, so register for one or both nights!
For all ages
$6 per person in-city, $7 per person non-city
Location: Winslow Woods Park
Friday, July 18
9-10:30 pm
This program will also take place at Griffy Lake Nature Preserve on July 25. Check out the event page for more details.
SPECIAL NOTE: Registration for this event is offered ONLY through Bloomington Parks & Recreation. "Resale" or transfer of registration is NOT accepted through third parties. If you are offered tickets to this event, it is a SCAM.
