This is the rescheduled Commander event for Final Fantasy! We're jumping over to the Final Fantasy multiverse, bringing with it four new commander decks! Let's see how they match up, and meet some new friends!
Entry: $23.81+tax, bring unmodified FIC Commander Deck [Same 100 card list, can use either of the legal included commanders]
Format: Commander - Multiplayer Free-for-All
Venue Opens: Noon
Event start: 12:30 PM
Minimum players: 6
Player Cap: 16
Rounds: 3 [Estimating 80 minutes per round]
Regular Rules Enforcement Level
Preregistration available in store
Prizes include:
- 5 WPN promos per player
- Assorted bonus prizes
First round will be randomly assembled pods of 4 or 5 players. If there are 2 or fewer players left in the pod when a turn ends, that pod is completed. Each remaining player gets a match point for surviving, then each player fills out a secret ballot, naming a player each for best sportsmanship, most terrifying (yet still adorable) deck, and coolest play. Players cannot vote for themselves. Players may name the same opponent in multiple categories.
Rounds 2 and 3 will be paired to minimize the number of players repeating opponents. After round 3 prizes will be distributed.
