FREE Landfill Day (Hurst Residents only)

The City of Hurst contracts with Republic Services to allow Hurst residents free access to the Arlington Landfill on the second Saturday of each month beginning in February and running through November from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Location: 800 Mosier Valley Rd, Arlington, Tx. 817-354-2300 (Scale house) or 817-354-2305. This access will be granted to Hurst residents to dispose of any non-hazardous materials for free.
ACCEPTED ITEMS:
Any non-hazardous bulk items such as scrap metal, loose brush, old fencing material or other debris (no commercial).
Electronic equipment recycling including computers, TVs, DVD players and cell phones.
NOT ACCEPTED ITEMS:
Tires & explosives.
Construction materials, such as shingles and sheetrock.
No more than six (6) fence panels will be accepted, unless a fence permit is shown for the address.
Brick and rock need to be containerized.
Compressed gas.
Pharmaceuticals or sharps.
Residents must present their current driver's license or photo identification AND current Hurst water bill.
Service does not include the disposal of hazardous waste or non-compact-able waste. For more information, visit hursttx.gov/trash.
