ON THE MENU
🍠 Sweet Potato Taro Swirl Ice Cream – a rich and creamy swirl of two locally grown ingredients! Made with The Utopian Seed Project produce. A dairy and vegan version will be available at all locations of The Hop while supplies last.
🧋 Local Taro Black Milk Tea – featuring a taro infused black milk tea (whole or oat), local taro walling, and classic tapioca pearls. Also available while supplies last.
🗓 BONUS: The Utopian Seed Project will be set up at The Hop on Merrimon providing more information about taro and what the Utopian Seed Project does!
Why Taro?
The Utopian Seed Project is doing incredible work exploring the possibilities of climate-resilient and culturally meaningful crops here in the Southeast. Through this exploration with taro, we hope to celebrate the flavor and story of this versatile root!
