Experience the heartbeat of Baton Rouge with live jazz at the Cary Saurage Community Arts Center July 16th, 6:30pm - 8:00pm! Our jazz performances aren't just shows—they're celebrations of culture and creativity.
This house trio of Mike Esneault on piano, Doug Belote on drums, and Brian Quezergue on bass is sure to entertain you with a packed performance of class jazz hits by world renowned artists Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, aKeith Jarrett, and Ellis Marsalis. There will be an open jam session at the conclusion of their set, so please bring an instrument and sit in with our performers!
About Mike Esneault: Mike Esneault is a two-time Emmy award winning film composer, Grammy certificate winning arranger/conductor, and Louisiana Hall of Fame educator. As an arranger he has recorded with many artists including Stevie Wonder, Nas, PJ Morton, Jill Scott and many more. As a pianist, he has worked with Wynton Marsalis, Terence Blanchard, Frank Morgan and more. He is currently the Director of Music Education and Advancement for the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge.
