Our Run Club of the Month for June is Running Baddies Club aka RBC was established in December 2024. RBC runs every Thursday at 6:30pm and alternates routes between Norfolk and Virginia Beach. It started as a group chat with friends (hence the name) that enjoyed running with other clubs and wanted to run more throughout the week.
RBC’s motto is Run, Build, Conquer. It’s not about what you look like, how fast you run, or how long you’ve been running, it’s the fact that you show up and bring the effort. We don’t only build endurance and stamina with runs but also confidence, community, and friendships. We conquer 5k’s to marathons together but also getting off the couch and moving your body.
The Striders will be joining RBC on Thursday June 26th. Showtime at 6:15pm and take off at 6:30pm. We’ll be meeting at the 1st Street Jetty at the Virginia Beach Boardwalk and there will be a 3 and 5 mile route. Come on out to get some Striders swag and be entered into a raffle for Striders races!
