Join Americans for Action in Bristol to celebrate the Fourth of July, America's Independence Day, on Sunday 6 July at Castle Park from 12pm-4pm.
This event will be a celebration of our commitment to democracy, community, and resistance in the face of tyranny.
Bring blankets, camp chairs, picnic baskets, food and drink, anything you might need to enjoy an afternoon in the park with us. On the 249th anniversary of the American Revolution, we reclaim the spirit of collective power and reimagine revolution as joyful. Expect face painting, speakers, music, friendly faces, bubbles, crafts, and garden games.
Whether you're coming to feel connected, to dance, or to picnic in the park, your presence is part of the movement. Resistance is not just struggle—it’s also joy, community, and the power we create together.
