Make Music Madison and the Boys & Girls Club of Dance County are hosting a community celebration at Allied Park on Make Music Day, June 21st! Everyone is welcome to join us for a day of fun and live music to celebrate the summer solstice. Free food will be on site, as well as community partners and family activities.

About the artist:
Cash Box Kings: The Cash Box Kings, according to Living Blue Magazine, "are one of the best blues bands in the land.". The group, co-led by real-deal Chicago blues vocalist and songwriter Oscar "Mr. 43rd Street" Wilson, and Madison, Wisconsin-based songwriter, harmonica giant, and singer Joe Nosek, plays masterfully raw, unvarnished, old-school ensemble blues.

Part of the global Make Music Day phenomenon started in 1982 in France, Madison is one of over 1,000 cities across the world celebrating music every summer solstice, June 21st.
