The Queen’s Foundation, in partnership with the New Life Wesleyan Holiness Church UK , are delighted to be hosting a service of Thanksgiving for Professor Robert Beckford in recognition of his pioneering work in Black Theology.
This year marks Robert Beckford’s 60th birthday, which occurs during the 60th year of the Race Relations Act. The service will be an opportunity to mark both milestones with music, presentations, special tributes, and homilies, amongst family, friends, dignitaries, scholars, Queen’s tutors and students, community agents, and others. Everyone is welcome!
Date: Saturday 21st June, at the New Life Wesleyan Church, Holyhead Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, B21 0LA
Time: 6pm (arrival from 5.15pm)
