The title is a Swiss-German phrase that suggests a state of being on a path and moving oneself through it. Fluctuating and friendly with distraction. Not walking straight, but in serpentine lines.
As we move through the city, we learn each other's words, write them down, and spell them wrong. The ones we don’t forget create a communal language in which we sing songs. Making jokes and beautiful things, too beautiful to keep secret: Rinkeli-Ränkeli reveals moments we shared together or experienced ourselves.
The exhibition brings together eight artists who met in 2025 while studying and working at Belas Artes in Lisbon.
