This Saturday, June 21st at 11 AM, please join us for an upcoming talk - Humanizing History: Abraham Parsons, Williams College and Williamstown, presented by Natalie Montoya-Barnes, Program Coordinator at the Davis Center at Williams College.
In recognition of Juneteenth this Thursday, Natalie will be sharing the compelling story of a man who escaped enslavement to become one of the most popular and beloved characters at Williams College for nearly half a century, and who had a most inhumane treatment upon his death.
The talk will be given at the Williamstown Historical Museum, 32 New Ashford Road, Dolan-Jenks Barn. Admission is free! Looking forward to seeing you there.
(We will begin with our open annual meeting from 11 AM to 11:15 AM.)
