Honey bees, both wild and domestic, are responsible for almost 80 percent of all pollination worldwide. Beekeeping is a great way to support pollinators!
Aaron Kiesz, Aberdeen's city forester and an experienced beekeeper, will present on bee basics at a free class at the Great Plains Landscape Arboretum on September 9 at 6:30 p.m. This is a beginner class--you do not need to know anything, but must want to learn! You already have bees in your yard. Maybe someday, you will have your bees in your yard. 💕
