In honor of the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary, join us for an engaging and educational evening with historian Dr. Fred Zilian, as he presents:
“The Founding of the U.S. Army: The American Revolution and the U.S. Army Begin.”
This talk will explore the roots of America’s military tradition, key events of the Revolutionary War—including Lexington & Concord, Bunker Hill, and the Siege of Boston—and the birth of the Continental Army under George Washington. Dr. Zilian will also connect the challenges of the past to reflections on the present.
