The laughter is coming to New Berlin when Homebrewed Comedy hits the stage at The Nook Coffeehouse on Saturday, Aug. 30. Andrew Schiavone is headlining the show and Elizabeth Becz is joining host Mike Peters.
The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and available online now or at the door, beginning at 6 p.m. Come out and enjoy the show.
About the comedians:
Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters is the founder of Homebrewed Comedy. He hosts at the Syracuse Funny Bone and Wise Crackers in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcasts, On the Mic with Mike Peters and It’s About Time: A Sopranos Watch Podcast.
Elizabeth Becz is a Brooklyn-based comedian with a real knack for picking things apart. Great on stage, terrible at parties. She has performed at the Catskills Comedy Festival, featured at clubs across New York, Maine and Massachusetts and was a finalist for the 2024 Capital Regions Funniest Comic.
Andrew Schiavone grew up in Virginia, but came to New York City to become a comedian. A co-host of the Panic Attacking Podcast, Schiavone performs regularly at the New York Comedy Club and has been on Sirius XM and Comcast. He’s awkward, anxious and an excellent writer -- a perfect combination for the stage.
