Ol' Time Fourth of July Celebration

Celebrate 4th of July at Jarrell Plantation and enjoy farm skill demonstrations like blacksmithing, spinning, and wood stove cooking. Young America Music Schools and the Middle Georgia Dulcimer Club will be performing live patriotic and bluegrass music. Cold slices of watermelon will be served 11:30am -12:30pm and we will hold the reading of the Declaration of Independence at 12:00pm followed by old fashioned games, relays, and races like the sack race, farm skill relay, lawn games, carnival style games and more. July 4, 2025 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Admission: $2-$9. For groups of 15 or more, make a reservation for reduced rates. 478-986-5172.
