Just in case you haven't heard, the "Knox County Water Trail" is a 44 mile kayak float along Beaver Creek starting at Clayton Park in Halls and ending at Melton Hill Park in Hardin Valley.
Knox County Engineering, Knox County Parks & Rec, Legacy Parks Foundation, Beaver Creek Kayak Club and MANY more groups have worked countless hours to "clean up, preserve" and promote the Beaver Creek Watershed".
The Hardin Valley Event Center is pleased to do our part by hosting an "Adopt A Stream" WORK DAY on Sunday, 08/10/25 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm before our "Food Truck Rally in the Valley" from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. We're going to walk, float, and kayak from the Karns Senior Center to the Hardin Valley Event Center and clean up Beaver Creek. We already have several volunteers but there is plenty of room to join our party. If you know a youth group, scout troop, and a student needing community service hours, please send an email to ZXZlbnRzIHwgaHZldmVudGNlbnRlciAhIGNvbQ==
