Back in ‘25 (1925 that is) the big cheese of publishers, Charles Scribner & Sons, dropped *The Great Gatsby* by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Since hitting the scene, this novel has inspired a whole gaggle of other writers and sparked various flicks and musical theater adaptations.
To celebrate a century of Gatsby, we're throwing a Gatsby Party! No need to head to East Egg though because our favorite Downtown Marshall Shops are getting in on the shindig by transforming into pop-up Speakeasies for the evening!
Get all dolled up in your flapper dresses and dapper suits and transport yourself to the Roaring Twenties for an evening of fun. You can come as you are for this unforgettable shindig but if you are on theme & your costume is the cat's pajamas you may win a prize (details to be revealed soon).
You will be able embark on a clandestine journey to 10 different locations, each serving up a sip and taste of something special. But shhh... the entrance locations are strictly hush-hush and require a password (tickeded entry - stay tuned for ticket details).
