Rotational Grazing Farm Tour

Want to learn about rotational grazing on a small-scale farm? Join us at the farm of Jerry and Lynn Szulczewski, where they will guide us on a short tour and tell us how these grazing efforts benefit our environment. Four cattle are sustained on the grasses - no grain - on eight of the 10 acres. The soil and habitat for birds and other wildlife are enhanced through the addition of native plantings. The pastures provide valuable habitat for pollinators and birds which feed on the seeds and insects in the paddocks. They also raise chickens for eggs and grow various fruits, nuts and vegetables to complete the small family farm.

Address: 6065, Church Rd., Omro. Limited parking is available on the driveway. Otherwise, park on the roadside and walk up the lane.

Directions from Oshkosh: Take State Rd 21 through Omro and cross the bridge. At the lights turn right onto W River Dr./State Rd 116 and then take the second left onto N. Webster Ave/Co Rd F. Travel about 4.5 miles to where Co Rd F ends at Co Rd D. Continue straight on Church Road for about 0.5 miles to the farm on your left.
