NEW DATE AND TIME!
Sunday, June 22th. 2-5:00. Worried about starting your first sweater/garment because it might not fit and no one is a fan of wasting money and time? Do you have sweaters that you’ve made that you never wear or have given away? Perhaps you’d just like to learn some fun tricks and options for using Ravelry or shaping garments to make your next project more enjoyable? This class is designed to help us know what our measurements are so we can discern what pattern size to make and flatter; translate Ravelry pattern pages for easier use; and avail participants of years of knitting lessons of others.
In this class students will learn how and what to measure to improve fit of knitted garments. Please dress appropriately (t-shirts and tights or similar) for this safe space to improve project size options. Receive a takeaway measurement chart for your use in future garment knitting. Learn some attributes of different types of fiber, pattern construction, definitions, and techniques to be more satisfied by your finished projects. Identify and learn some tricks, tools, and savvy for in process garments that you might have on the needles right now.
No prerequisite for this class, other than some confidence in basic knitting ability. No supplies required but feel free to bring projects or patterns you have questions about.
Sliding Scale Access: We don’t want finances to be a barrier to being a part of the Clear Creek Farm community, so offer several sliding-scale options for registrants.
